Tanya Davies MP, State Member for Mulgoa, visited the Glenmore Park “Brumbies” Junior Rugby League Club fields on Saturday morning and met with Club President Jason Charlton and youngsters from the Under 6-5’s team at Ched Towns Reserve in Glenmore Park to announce that their club was successful in receiving a one-off NSW Government grant for $4,000.
“I am delighted to announce that the Glenmore Park “Brumbies” has been successful with their grant submission. I advocated strongly for the club at short notice to deliver this important financial support, just as the rugby league season is about to start” said Tanya Davies.
The funds will be used to purchase a new BBQ for match day canteen sales, freezer for the canteen, tables and chairs for the fields.
“I would like to thank Tanya Davies and the State Government for supporting the Glenmore Park Brumbies” said Jason Charlton, Club President.
The Glenmore Park “Brumbies” Junior Rugby League Club is still taking player registrations. For more information visit their website at www.brumbiesstampede.com
