Member for Mulgoa, Tanya Davies MP today announced Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) is inviting community feedback on the revised concept design and review of environmental factors (REF) for The Northern Road upgrade.
“RMS proposes to widen The Northern Road between The Old Northern Road at Narellan and Mersey Road at Bringelly from a two lane road to a four lane divided road. “The proposal also includes installing thirteen new sets of traffic lights with bus priority capability, five new intersections, new turning lanes, pedestrian crossings, bus bays and a shared pedestrian/cyclist path.
“RMS will host an information session on Saturday 17 November 2012 from 10am till 2pm at Bringelly Community Centre, Greendale Road at Bringelly where RMS project team members will be available to answer questions and receive feedback.
“RMS will also host a shopping centre display of the concept design and REF on Thursday 15 November from 2pm to 7pm at Narellan Town Centre, 326 Camden Valley Way at Narellan.
“Written feedback is welcome on the REF and concept design until Friday 30 November 2012. The REF and concept design is available online at www.rms.nsw.gov.au/roadprojects or at a display location at Narellan Library and Narellan Motor Registry. For a CD copy of the REF please call 1800 257 484.
