For the first time, the popular 2017 Seniors Christmas Concert series featuring Peter Cousens can be enjoyed online by seniors in Mulgoa.

Quality highlights of the regional NSW tour include Christmas classics like Hark the Herald Angels Sing, Jingle Bells, and Away in a Manger, while also spoiling audiences to a special performance from London’s West End production - The Phantom of the Opera.

Tanya Davies said the release of the Seniors Christmas Concert video online ensures no senior in Mulgoa will miss out on experiencing this special event.

“The concert tours to four different locations each year, so if seniors in Mulgoa missed out this year, we are bringing the Christmas cheer straight to you in the comfort of your own home, said Tanya Davies.

“I look forward to hearing carols ring out across Mulgoa in the lead up to Christmas.”

The 2017 Seniors Christmas Concert series recently toured Taree, Grafton, and Port Macquarie, and will visit Queanbeyan later this month.

The online video of the 2017 concert series not only features performances from musical theatre star Peter Cousens, but also his daughter Daisy Cousens, Ashleigh Rubenach, and Australian country music singer Darren Coggan.

As NSW Minister for Ageing, Tanya Davies also said she hopes the launch of the concert online will reach communities far and wide.

“I encourage seniors and their family and friends to grab some Christmas cake and gather around their phone, tablet or smart TV to enjoy these magic musical performances,” Tanya Davies said.
