Member for Mulgoa, Tanya Davies MP has congratulated the Kemps Creek United Soccer Club upon receiving two grants worth $7,000 and $5,000 administered under the NSW Government’s Community Building Partnership Program and Local Sports Grant Program.
Tanya Davies was joined by Club President, Ross Maiorana, along with some budding junior players, at Bill Anderson Reserve in Kemps Creek where the cheque for both grants was presented.
“The allocation of both of these grants to the Kemps Creek United Soccer Club signifies the NSW Government’s commitment to investing in our local communities and supporting the growth of young athletes,” Tanya Davies said.
The Community Building Partnership Program grant will fund vital drainage installation and upgrades to fencing, whilst the Local Sports grant will contribute to the purchase of new uniforms and equipment.
“Our Club has been very fortunate to have someone like Tanya promoting us and helping to improve the facilities with worthy funding contributions,” Ross Maiorana said.
President Maiorana Continued, “The last few years have seen some good works carried out, and we hope to continue delivering the best facilities possible for our Club members and the football community.”
“Initiatives like the NSW Government’s Community Building Partnership Program and Local Sports Grant Program are critical to boosting infrastructure, programs and services to increase on-going participation in local organisations like the Kemps Creek United Soccer Club. I am certain the club will benefit greatly from both of these grants.” Tanya Davies said.
