Motorists are reminded of changed traffic conditions on the M4 Motorway bridge across the Nepean River at Regentville as essential maintenance work continues.
Work is being carried out to repair concrete on the bridge and columns, remove and replace asphalt and repaint road markings to improve the bridge’s structure and safety for motorists.
Work will be carried out on weekdays until Saturday 15 July between 7am and 6pm and between 8am and 1pm on Saturday, excluding public holidays and weather permitting.
To minimise the impact to motorists, night work will be carried out for around two shifts between 8pm and 5am Sunday to Friday.
Traffic control and lane closures will be in place for the safety of workers and motorists.
Motorists are advised to plan ahead, drive to the conditions and follow the direction of signs and traffic control.
Roads and Maritime Services thanks the community for its patience while work is carried out.
