The Australian and NSW governments are jointly funding work as part of the $1.6 billion The Northern Road Upgrade between Narellan and Penrith.

Roads and Maritime Services are installing barriers and constructing temporary traffic lanes on Glenmore Parkway east of Windorra Avenue, Glenmore Park.

This work will be carried out at night, when traffic volumes are lower to minimise impact on traffic and safety of the travelling public.

Night work will be carried out between 7pm and 7am from Monday 16 October to Friday 15 December 2017, weather permitting.

To ensure safety of workers and motorists, the speed limit on Glenmore Parkway between the Northern Road and Windorra Avenue will be reduced to 40km per hour, 24 hours a day seven days a week from Monday 16 October 2017. This reduced speed limit will be in place until the new roundabout is completed in mid-2018.

For further information on this work and its location please see the RMS website for the most recent notification distributed on Tuesday 10 October 2017.
