The NSW Government is funding this essential maintenance work under its $1.5 billion program to maintain and improve the 18,028 kilometre state road and bridge network.
Roads and Maritime Services will be repairing the concrete on Elizabeth Drive over South Creek. Attached is a map to show the location of the work.
Roads and Maritime Services maintenance work aims to prevent or minimise damage to roads and bridges from weather and wear and tear to make them safer, provide consistent driving conditions and reduce maintenance costs in the long term.
The work schedule
Roads and Maritime Services will be on site for two night shifts and seven day shifts between Monday 14 August and Monday 25 September, weather permitting. Night work hours will be between 8pm and 5am from Sunday to Friday. Day work hours will be between 7am and 5pm from Monday to Friday.
How will the work affect you?
Roads and Maritime Services work may be noisy at times but will do everything they can to minimise its impact, including completing the noisier tasks by 11pm.
There will be some temporary traffic changes to ensure the work zone is safe.
Lane closures will be in place and may affect travel times. Please keep to speed limits and follow signs and traffic controllers’ directions. For the latest traffic updates, you can call 132 701, visit livetraffic.com or download the Live Traffic NSW App.
If you have any questions, please contact Roads and Maritime Services delivery partner, DM Roads, on 1800 332 660 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
