The NSW Government is funding this essential maintenance work under its $1.5 billion program to maintain and improve the 18,028 kilometre state road and bridge network.
Roads and Maritime Services will be removing and replacing sections of asphalt on the M4 Western Motorway, between Wallgrove Road and Archbold Road. Included a map to show the location of the work.
Roads and Maritime Services maintenance work aims to prevent or minimise damage to roads from weather and wear and tear to make them safer, provide consistent driving conditions and reduce maintenance costs in the long term.
Roads and Maritime Services will be on site for three shifts between Wednesday 15 November and Friday 22 December, weather permitting. The work hours will be between 10pm and 7am from Sunday to Friday.
How will the work affect you?
Work may be noisy at times but Roads and Maritimes Services will do everything to minimise its impact, including completing the noisier tasks by 11pm.
There will be temporary traffic changes during work hours to ensure the work zone is safe.
Lane closures may be in place and may affect travel times. Please keep to speed limits and follow signs and traffic controllers’ directions. For the latest traffic updates, you can call 132 701, visit livetraffic.com or download the Live Traffic NSW App.
If you have any questions, please contact Roads and Maritimes Services delivery partner, DM Roads, on 1800 332 660 or email@example.com.
