Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions on the Mamre Road overpass of the M4 Western Motorway at St Marys from next week for essential maintenance work to be carried out.

Work will involve repairing bridge joints to minimise damage to roads from weather and wear and tear, improve safety for motorists and reduce ongoing future maintenance requirements.

To minimise impact to motorists, night work will be carried out for around four shifts from Wednesday 5 to Friday 28 April between 8pm and 5am Sunday to Friday, excluding public holidays and weather permitting.

Traffic control and lane closures will be in place for the safety of workers and motorists.

Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.

Roads and Maritime Services thanks the community for its patience while work is carried out.
