The NSW Government is funding this essential maintenance work under its $1.5 billion program to maintain and improve the 18,028 kilometre state road network.

Roads and Maritime Services will be improving the road surface and repainting road markings on Wallgrove Road, Cecil Park, near Elizabeth Drive. Please see included a map to show the location of the work.

Maintenance work aims to prevent or minimise damage to roads from weather and wear and tear to make them safer, provide consistent driving conditions and reduce maintenance costs in the long term.

Our work schedule

Roads and Maritime Services will be on site for four shifts between Monday 17 July and Monday 21 August, weather permitting. Work hours will be between 8pm and 5pm from Sunday to Friday.

To minimise disruption to residents, businesses and road users, Roads and Maritime Services will not work more than two nights in any week.

How will the work affect you?

Work may be noisy at times but Roads and Maritime will do everything they can to minimise its impact, including completing the noisier tasks by 11pm.

Traffic changes

There will be temporary traffic changes during work hours to ensure the work zone is safe. Access to some homes and businesses may be affected during shift hours but traffic controllers will be on hand to make sure you can enter and leave as required.

Lane closures will be in place and may affect travel times. Please keep to speed limits and follow signs and traffic controllers’ directions. For the latest traffic updates, you can call 132 701, visit livetraffic.com or download the Live Traffic NSW App.
