NSW drivers have been given Fuel for Thought as part of a NSW Government campaign recently announced by the Minister for Better Regulation Matt Kean to educate drivers on the benefits of E10 petrol.

The E10 Fuel for Thought campaign helps drivers counter E10 myths in the market as well as giving motorists the opportunity to check their car’s E10 compatibility via an online tool at www.e10fuelforthought.nsw.gov.au.

Member for Mulgoa, Tanya Davies MP said that in addition to hosting the Compatibility Checker, the E10 Fuel for Thought website will serve as the central information hub for the campaign, answering E10-related questions and offering testimonials from E10 users and car experts.

The Institute of Automotive Mechanical Engineers and the NRMA support the NSW ethanol mandate, and testify to E10’s safety and suitability for most petrol-powered cars on the road today.

Tanya Davies said that I encourage all motorists to consider the benefits of E10 and to check their car’s compatibility on-line at www.e10fuelforthought.nsw.gov.au.

“This simple online resource is assessable to everyone in the electorate and can quickly put drivers’ minds at ease by checking to see if E10 is suitable for their car,” Tanya Davies said.

“As well as hosting the Compatibility Checker, the E10 Fuel for Thought website will include general E10-related facts as well as testimonials from users and car experts.

“We want to increase awareness in Mulgoa and empower consumers so they can make an informed choice at the bowser,” Tanya Davies said.
