Member for Mulgoa, Tanya Davies MP, was joined by Premier Mike Baird to officially open the new Mulgoa electorate office, at a launch event held last Friday evening, 3 June.
The new electorate office, located in St Clair Shopping Centre, was moved as a result of the redrawing of State electoral boundaries by the NSW Electoral Commission, which took place at the last State election.
“It was a privilege to have Premier Baird join my staff and a large group of community guests in celebrating the official opening, and I was especially encouraged to hear his positive words and reflections on the Mulgoa community and broader Western Sydney region,” said Tanya Davies.
Tanya Davies welcomed special guests and supporters from various backgrounds and community organisations, including the Hon Stuart Ayres MP Member for Penrith; the Hon Peter Collins OAM and his wife Jennine; local Principals Chris Presland of St Clair High School, Leiza Lewis of Erskine Park High School and Lisette Gorrick of Glenmore Park High School; as well as representatives from local churches and sporting organisations; Panthers on the Prowl; the Assyrian Universal Alliance; the St Marys RSL Sub-Branch and local Councils.
“Premier Mike Baird is committed to delivering for our region like no other Premier before him, and his warm, approachable nature was demonstrated in him taking his time to speak individually with many guests, and their eagerness to get selfies with him,” Tanya Davies said.
“I was grateful for all of those who were able to attend the opening and I am looking forward to welcoming local residents and interacting with them in this fantastic new office space,” Tanya Davies said.
The Mulgoa Electorate Office address is Shop 43, St Clair Shopping Centre, 155 Bennett Road, St Clair, NSW 2759. The office can be contacted on (02) 9834 2966.
