PROJECT UPDATE WORK RESUMING ON MULGOA ROAD, MULGOA, FROM WEDNESDAY 27 SEPTEMBER

The NSW Government is funding this essential maintenance work under its $1.5 billion program to maintain and improve the 18,028 kilometre state road network.

Roads and Maritime Services are delivering this project, which involves repairing drains and installing a safety barrier near 879 Mulgoa Road, Mulgoa.

Maintenance work aims to prevent or minimise damage to roads from weather and wear and tear to make them safer, provide consistent driving conditions and reduce maintenance costs in the long term.

Progress so far and the next stage

Roads and Maritime Services have finished repairing drains between 795 and 879 Mulgoa Road, Mulgoa.

The work still to be done includes installing a safety barrier opposite Nepean Christian School.

Work schedule

Roads and Maritime Services will be back on site to complete the remaining work for another four shifts, between Wednesday 27 September and Friday 20 October, excluding public holidays, weather permitting. Shift hours will be between 9am and 4pm from Monday to Friday.

How will the work affect you?

Roads and Maritime Services work may be noisy at times but will continue to do everything they can to minimise its impact.

Traffic changes

There will again be temporary traffic changes during work hours to ensure the work zone is safe.
