Tanya Davies MP, Member for Mulgoa, last week welcomed 4 new probationary officers assigned to Green Valley Police Station as part of 109 new recruits joining the NSW Police Force, following a ceremony recently at the Police Academy in Goulburn.
“These officers join are among almost 3,000 officers who have passed through the academy since 2011,” Tanya Davies said.
“They have worked hard over the past few months and they now begin their new life policing the local community.
“The Liberals & Nationals Government has delivered record high police numbers to keep our community safe with an authorised strength at 16,565.
“I know our new recruits will be welcomed by our local community and I look forward to seeing them continuing the fantastic work of our Local Area Command here at Green Valley.
“I thank the new officers who are taking on this challenging and rewarding role and for their commitment to service” Said Tanya Davies.
“Class 324” come from all walks of life including 11 born overseas, three from Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander background and they range in age from 21 to 47.
