Member for Mulgoa, Tanya Davies MP met with St Clair resident, Greg Spargo this week to inspect the recently upgraded Colorado and Denver Road Reserve in St Clair. The reserve now has a new seat and shade structure and a newly constructed path linking Diamantina Close and Clairgate Public School.
Mr Spargo contacted Mrs Davies earlier in the year to ask for her assistance with getting the path built and the seat installed.
"My kids walk through the reserve every day on their way to and from school, before the path was installed there was tall grass and mud to walk through to get to Diamantina Place" Mr Spargo said.
Mr Spargo thanked Mrs Davies for taking up the matter on his behalf with Penrith City Council.
"I would like to thank and congratulate Tanya on the positive response I received" Mr Spargo said.
Mrs Davies acknowledged and thanked Penrith City Council for addressing Mr Spargo's concerns.
"The new path and seating enhances the reserve and increases accessibility for our local community" Mrs Davies said.
